Welcome to Specified Fittings.
        Specified Fittings was established in 1997 and is one of the major manufacturers of plastic pipe fittings in
   North America. We produce a full line of PVC and HDPE fittings, from adapters to wyes and everything in between
   in a range of sizes to meet every need. End configurations are solvent weld, gasket, butt fusion, socket fusion,
   compression and flange to name just a few. Sample fittings are available on request.
   We use the Rieber gasket almost exclusively in our gasketed fittings because it offers a positive seal that is
   both pressure and vacuum tight, thus preventing rolling or dislocation of the gasket during installation. Composition
   of the standard gasket is SBR but we also offer EPDM (EP), Viton, nitrile and neoprene—to name a few—for those
   applications where SBR may be unsuitable because of the characteristics of the fluid to be contained or the
   properties of the surrounding environment.
        Because we are a manufacturing company, we have extraordinary flexibility in what we can produce,
   whether it is a "one off" fitting or 10,000 fittings. We can also custom-build a fitting to your individual specifications.
   Just give us a drawing and/or dimensions and we are confident that we will be able to fabricate a fitting that will
   meet your exact requirements. Prior to shipment, all our products are inspected to insure the highest standards of
   quality control and all items are clearly marked with special labels that are waterproof and will not bleed or wash off
   under adverse weather or ground conditions.
        In addition to our own products, we offer a broad-based commodity line including injection-molded HDPE,
   electro fusion couplings, field machines, transition pieces, injection-molded sewer, C907, SDR21 gasketed and
   PVC DWV that provides you with the convenience of a one-stop purchasing resource.
   We have a comprehensive set of illustrated catalogs that are available to our customers and may be
   ordered in entire sets or individually. The catalogs have been designed to provide the estimator/buyer with detailed
   information on sizes, availability and technical information to complete an order and answer those frequently asked
   question. Information that is not available in the catalog may be obtained from any member of our customer service

Specified Fittings has acquired all assets of Poly Warehouse located in Missoula (Stevensville), Montana.  This acquisition doubles Specified’s HDPE production capabilities and broadens the line both dimensionally and configuration wise.  With this modern 25,000 square foot (3 acres plus) facility Specified will have vastly increased flexibility in production. The equipment has IPS and DIPS capabilities with machinery able to produce fittings through 36”.   All machinery is immediately operational allowing for quicker turn around and greater product breadth. Poly Warehouse was one of the top three pure HDPE fitting manufacturers during its existence.  The creative nature and innovations of its employees is an industry legend, and cannot be overestimated.

                We would like to take this opportunity to announce that Specified Fittings has acquired the HDPE Fitting division of KWH Pipe.  The importance of this action to our customers and interested parties is manyfold and includes but is not limited to the following:

 1.  The machinery triples our present capacity in HDPE and aids in broadening our capabilities in PVC.

  2.  The fitting production range of the equipment is:

 A- IPS 3”-54” (many but not all configurations)

 B- DIPS- 10”-20”

 C- Metric- 125mm-500mm

 3.  Included in the sale is the KWH machine shop which includes among other equipment, a CNC lathe with capacity through 28”.   These additions to our machine shop enhance the “crossover” manufacturing capabilities between HDPE & PVC products.

  4.  Production will be moved to our Bellingham, Washington facility.

  5.  Production will begin incrementally in a 10-90 day window.

 All machinery is in great condition and originally manufactured by McElroy, Technodue and Ritmo.

We are excited about our opportunity to serve the industry with greater and broader production with even more timely deliveries of quality HDPE and PVC products.  Over the years with the acquisitions of Professional Fiberglass, Norcor, Infutech and New Plastics, we have had a guiding principle to produce in-house the fabricated fittings and components we sell.  With the addition of the KWH fitting division and machine shop, we have taken a large step toward achieving this goal.

On April 13, 2009, Specified Fittings, Inc. and Total Polyethylene, Inc. will merge under the Specified Fittings name.

 Kevin Hawkins, president of Total Polyethylene, will become the head of outside sales for HDPE, working closely with our area reps and distributors to continue expanding our HDPE division.

 All of Total Polyethylene’s HDPE molded and fabricated inventory has been transferred to our Preston, Idaho warehouse, where, along with our full line of PVC fittings there,  can be direct shipped anywhere in the country.

In addition to Kevin, we also welcome Mike Tuminello, a former inside sales person with Total Polyethylene, who will continue in the same capacity with Specified Fittings, in Bellingham.

With these additions, along with our increased HDPE capacities, including our new 48” fusion machine, Specified Fittings is positioned to become a leading HDPE supplier.
