Freight policy
FOB manufacturer's plant or regional distribution warehouse with freight paid on $1,000 net orders, excluding pipe, $2,000 net orders for drain basins and HDPE fittings. Freight to be shipped to any one destination within the forty-eight (48) contiguous states.
All products may be combined, with the exception of drain basins and pipe, to qualify for best distributor or net price and minimum freight requirement provided that orders are placed for shipment at one time to one destination.
Seller shall not be liable for failure to deliver nor for any delays in delivery because of causes beyond seller's control or the control of seller's suppliers.
Lost or damaged goods
All claims for lost and/or damaged merchandise shall be made by the purchaser to the delivering carrier.
Returned goods
Goods will not be accepted for return without a returned goods authorization (RGA) issued by Specified Fittings, Inc. (SFI). A restocking fee and inbound freight charges will be assessed on all material returned to SFI. Where appropriate, outbound freight costs will also be assessed. Goods must be returned in clean condition and seller's count of returned material shall be deemed final. Special fittings or unreasonably large quantities are not returnable.
Order cancellation: Non-standard or specially produced fittings are non-cancelable once production has begun.
Payment terms
Invoices are due and payable by 10th prox. following date of invoice to receive trade discount in effect at any particular time. Purchases and shipments made after 25th of month will be considered following month's purchases. Payments not received by end of month following date of invoice are subject to a finance charge commencing at end of month in which invoice is due. Purchaser agrees to pay a finance charge of 1-1/2% per month (18% annual rate) on all past due invoices.
If purchaser's account becomes past due and is placed with an attorney for collection or suit, purchaser agrees to pay all attorney's fees and court costs. All orders placed by customers whose accounts are delinquent will be placed on hold until the account is brought current or other acceptable payment arrangements are made.
