Specified Fittings, Inc., (SFI) warrants all new SFI products against defects resulting from faulty workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
SFI will replace or repair at its option, any product established to be so defective, with a product of like type. Claims for labor costs and other charges resulting from the use of SFI products are not covered by this warranty.
This warranty is effective only for the benefit of the original purchaser and user and provided the following procedure is followed. FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED BELOW WILL INVALIDATE THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY.
- Within thirty (30) days after noticing the defect, purchaser/user must notify Specified Fittings, Inc., IN WRITING, at its corporate offices located at 164 West Smith Road, PO Box 28157, Bellingham, WA 98228, of the alleged defect.
- Upon request by SFI, purchaser/user must either return the defective fitting(s) to SFI, freight prepaid, or at the option of SFI, make the defective fitting(s) available for inspection by a duly appointed SFI representative. (In the event that the product is found to be defective because of a manufacturing error, the freight cost will be reimbursed to the purchaser/user.)
After SFI repairs and/or replaces the product, it will ship the product back to the purchaser/user, freight prepaid.
This warranty pertains only to products that have not been altered or damaged or used beyond their intended application. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, of the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, which would otherwise extend beyond the warranties specified herein. This warranty specifically excludes incidental or consequential damages of any kind. However, some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation may not apply to you.
In the event that a dispute arises, the parties agree to be governed by the conditions outlined below until a resolution is achieved.
- Independent third party testing of the alleged defective product shall be conducted and all costs in connection with such testing shall be borne by the party proved incorrect in the allegation.
- Mediation by a third party if agreed by the parties.
- Arbitration by third party if agreed by the parties.
- Legal recourse with the losing side to pay all legal fees incurred by both parties.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
